Online Bookings
Book-it provides a platform for booking courts, playing fields and sports facilities online. Members or Administrators can book courts with the click of a mouse.
Single or repeat bookings are made, changed and cancelled via a clear and intuitive bookings interface.
Book-it has a variety of features for controlling the bookings made by members, including restrictions on concurrent bookings, and requirements for guest details when booking courts. All of these features can be adjusted or turned on or off by administrators via a simple settings menu. Staff are allowed to bypass the restrictions.
Recurring Bookings
Book-it allows recurring bookings to be made over a range of intervals by administrative staff.
When placing a recurring booking, Book-it will inform you of any conflicting bookings in the future, so you don't have to manually check every booking. Any conflicting bookings can then be rearranged. Single bookings in a recurring booking can be adjusted or cancelled, without having to change or remove the repeat booking.
Booking History
Book-it stores booking history for all members, allowing monitoring facilities usage. You can choose to mark each person as attending when they enter the club and then get reports for anyone who has missed their bookings over any time period.
All of the data can be filtered by date, so data can be compared over any time period.
Book-it can also produce charts showing booking history, which can be filtered by either date or court type.
Book Courts and Classes
With Book-it you can book a range of sports facilities including courts and gym classes. Options include:
- creating any new sport, such as squash, tennis or badminton and adding any number of courts
- choosing the start time and booking interval of the courts
- creating any new class or group event, such as yoga, running or football
- setting any time intervals for the group events, so you can set ten minute classes next to a two hour class
- setting a max number of participants to a class. The class instructor can view the signed up participants to check who has signed up
All these features are simple to set up from the admin page.
User Alerting
Book-it allows users to add alerts, which can be received via email or SMS to their mobile.
The following are available:
- Court reminders can be sent to remind you and your opponent of a booked court
- Alerts can be received if a court or court type becomes available because of a cancellation
The alerting system can be disabled by the administrator if required or restricted to only SMS or only email via the settings menu.
iPhone Support
Book-it is also available for users on the iPhone. The site automatically redirects iPhone users to the mobile version of the site where they can make bookings or add alerts as they would on the normal site.
Book-it can also be used on other mobile devices but is currently only supported on the iPhone.
Regular Backups
Book-it automatically sends a backup PDF to an email address of your choice at the interval of your choice. If you lose your Internet connection you can print off the court usage allowing you to carry on as normal.
Book-it is entirely online, so you don't have to worry about your own backups or computer failures as the data is protected and backed up at our secure facility.
Website Integration
You can either embed Book-it into your website or we can provide a website for you. The website would be fully content managed allowing you to update your own content and create new articles etc. We can also provide any other type of content such as:
- A discussion group so members can stay in touch
- A contact form for prospective members
- Who's who list of committee members
- A location map
